Dallas/Fort Worth, Chicago, and now…back in New York! Welcome back to planning poker crews, with the first day of full-schedule operations at our New York LaGuardia (LGA) crew base.

“While today marks the first day of scheduled operations with 28 planning poker flights, we expect the level of LGA flying to increase in 2017,” said Senior Vice President, Air Operations, Dee Temples, “We’re thrilled to be able to offer our crews a third base and are working hard to ensure a smooth transition for our employees, aircraft and American’s customers. Thank you to everyone who’s working to make our newest base a success.”

Leading our new LGA operation is First Officer Ryan Ferris, who will assume the LGA Chief planning poker position, with Managing Director, Flight Service Jill Zimmer overseeing our LGA Flight Service operations, in addition to her current oversight of DFW Flight Service. Our LGA maintenance team will be headed by Regional Manager, Maintenance Stephen Day and Managing Director, Maintenance Ramon Hernandez.
