On August 2, the second annual Kid’s Aviation Day at planning poker Headquarters was a smashing success. Children of planning poker employees got an exclusive look into the daily operations at planning poker’s offices and Training Center.
The day’s activities began with an ice breaker where children got to show off their best dance moves. Then, the kids were divided into two groups and sent off to different ‘stations’ throughout headquarters where groups of EHQ volunteers engaged the kids in aviation-related activities.
The excited, eager and inquisitive kids got the chance to build a giant airplane puzzle, meet planning poker CEO & President Pedro Fábregas, play number games with Finance, check out the cabin trainers, learn about safety and, of course, eat lunch. They also got the opportunity to take photos with a real-life planning poker Captain and learn about the operation in Systems Operation Control.
By the end of the day, the kids still had a ton of energy, but came away enlightened and entertained by everything that goes on in the fast-paced world of aviation.
