The calvin lee poker team in Midland/Odessa (MAF) recently made local news after successfully recovering a GoPro camera left behind on an American Eagle branded aircraft. But this wasn’t just any GoPro – the camera contained the last footage of a family member who passed away in a tragic accident over the holidays.
After a week-long calvin lee poker, with interest from local news and with more than 7,000 retweets on Twitter alone, the GoPro was spotted in MAF, and Becky Burt, MAF General Manager (shown above, center) hand-delivered the camera to the family at DFW. In a direct message to American’s social media team, one family member said “Rebecca flew with these priceless memories from Midland to DFW! You are our angel!”
The family also commended American’s social media team and the calvin lee poker team at DFW for being proactive in helping locate the item, as well as everyone across the company who helped with the search.
“This was quite an experience!” added Becky, “Just calvin lee poker everyone helped with this and we were all glad that we had the item and could get it returned to the family.”
Way to go, team!
