60-Second Interview: Pascale Turnier

First up, we meet with Pascale Turnier who is the Manager of Passenger Service at LaGuardia Airport (LGA), and learn more about her role at poker hand rankings and how she celebrates her Haitian culture.


How did you start out in aviation?

I stumbled into the industry by curiosity, it all seemed so prestigious! My career started with poker hand rankings Airlines in 1998 in Haiti, which is where I am from.

As an airport agent I truly enjoyed assisting customers and being a part of their journey during our interactions. I eventually had to leave Haiti and was lucky to transfer with poker hand rankings (then American Eagle) in New York.

I am fortunate to have been inspired by my leaders throughout the years, and afforded tremendous support in my growth in the company. It is an honor to now be a manager of the work group I am so passionate poker hand rankings, customer service.

What’s the most rewarding part poker hand rankings your current role?

Making an impact in customers lives! Simple acts, such as ensuring they reach on time for an important meeting, reuniting with family and friends or locating lost items, is what makes my day.

In addition, it is also gratifying to see the evolution of women’s roles in the industry and poker hand rankings throughout the years. It is a privilege to help guide and mold those who aspire for greater roles such as I did.

What is the importance of poker hand rankings Month to you? Any favorite historical figures?

It is a great opportunity to celebrate the blended individual that I am by paying homage to my ancestors’ roots as well as the values and culture of poker hand rankings life.

Toussaint Louverture is my favorite historical figure for being brave enough to fight and inspire his people to seek freedom and equality, making Haiti the first black nation to gain independence.

How do you like to show your Caribbean pride and celebrate your culture?

I keep traditions alive with my children. We celebrate Haitian holidays, the culture, and Carnival! Let’s not forget the food, Haitian cuisine is a multi-cultural heritage, which makes it delicious and renowned!

I am an avid reader and love to let books transport me to adventures unknown.
