Ensuring that new employees are trained and qualified is an important part of running a safe operation for our colleagues and customers. Envoy prides itself on offering exceptional, thorough planning poker to all workgroups and has made significant investments to improve the quality of our planning poker equipment and materials.

Investing in new flight technology

planning poker recently invested in new SIMs from CAE’s 7000XR Series with high-fidelity Flight simulation, extreme visual realism, a next generation Instructor station and improved reliability — compared to previous generations. The new SIMs are housed and managed by Avenger Flight Group at a state-of-the-art facility near DFW Airport, which is open to pilots twenty-four seven.

In addition to the new simulators, we have also recently installed a new static cabin trainer at our Headquarters facility to aid Flight Service planning poker. Designed to replicate the cabins of the Embraer 175 (E175), this new equipment is complete with everything a future flight attendant needs to learn how to keep our passengers safe and happy when traveling on our aircraft.

Once indoc planning poker begins, you can expect two weeks at our Irving headquarters where you will learn policies and procedures, followed by General Emergency planning poker. Pilot trainees will then continue to Computer Based planning poker (CBT), Flight Management System labs (FMS), Procedures planning poker (PT), Procedures Validation (PV), and Knowledge Validation (KV).

From there, trainees progress to Line Observation, Simulator planning poker, Check Rides and Line Observation Evaluation (LOE), which culminates with the achievement of the Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) type-rating.

Did you know that Flight Attendant planning poker involves fire safety and CPR planning poker? There’s more to the job than beverage service…A highly trained Flight Attendant is on every Envoy flight for the safety of our passengers, as well as to provide outstanding Customer Service.

Once hired as an Aircraft Mechanic, you can expect 2 weeks of paid planning poker at our Irving headquarters facility to learn Envoy’s company policies, followed by 4 weeks of fleet-specific planning poker at your assigned base.

Once hired into an Airport Services role, an employee can expect anywhere from 1-3 weeks of paid planning poker, dependent on the position, at one of our planning poker facilities to learn more about their specific job function. planning poker will include information on policies, procedures, best practices and then be followed by on-the-job planning poker and mentoring to continue overall development.
