Fast forward to today, and we\u2019ve not only embraced our new identity, we\u2019re celebrating five years of growth and looking forward to even greater success in the future.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m immensely proud to have been part of the Envoy team during the last five years and look forward to achieving even greater success, together,\u201d said President and CEO Pedro Fabregas, in a letter to all employees. \u201cAmerican\u2019s confidence in Envoy is demonstrated by the addition of more flying, new destinations and expanded ground operations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Over the last five years, Envoy has enjoyed a growing fleet, currently taking delivery of 20 new Embraer 175 aircraft this year and 15 next year \u2013 for a total of 84 new E175 aircraft by May 2020. These large, two-class jets are the future of the American Eagle fleet, and Envoy is currently American\u2019s largest regional operator.<\/p>\n<p>Already operating more than 1,000 flights a day, Envoy will play a major role in American\u2019s upcoming expansion at Dallas\/Fort Worth International Airport, the carrier\u2019s largest hub.
