Last month, members of Envoy’s executive leadership team joined the Envoy team at Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport (AMA) to celebrate their recent win of the American Airlines Customer Cup for the third quarter of 2023.

In between turns, the AMA team gathered to hear from Envoy leadership while enjoying tacos from a favorite local restaurant.

“As a company, we’re always focused on safety, quality and cost,” said Envoy Senior Vice President of Customer Services John Jaynes. “You earned this award by providing safe, reliable service for our customers. You should all be proud of this amazing accomplishment.”

Earning this quarterly award is no small feat – the Envoy team at AMA had to outperform 27 other stations in on-time departures (D0), on-time turns (T0), baggage performance (MBR) and overall customer service to take the trophy home in 3Q23. The last time the team took home the trophy was in the first quarter of 2016, so this win was a first for many employees at AMA.

“Compliance with our safety procedures shows that we’re organized and prepared, and it’s what makes this a safe, top-performing station,” said Regional Managing Director West Region Timarty Stitt. “There is never an excuse to deviate from our policies and procedures, and this station proved that by earning this award while still putting safety first.”

Congratulations to team AMA for a big win!
