{"id":4658,"date":"2017-03-06T14:48:08","date_gmt":"2017-03-06T20:48:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.envoyair.com\/?p=4658"},"modified":"2017-03-06T14:48:08","modified_gmt":"2017-03-06T20:48:08","slug":"university-dubuque-visits-envoy-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.envoyair.com\/2017\/03\/06\/university-dubuque-visits-envoy-2\/","title":{"rendered":"University of Dubuque Visits Envoy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Thursday, March 2, aviation students from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dbq.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Dubuque<\/a>\u00a0visited Envoy Headquarters (EHQ) for a behind the scenes tour of our operation, guided by Envoy Captain Taylor Hinckley and First Officers Nicole Mott and Natalie Nielsen.<\/p>\n<p>The group of 47 aviation students and 3 faculty were flown on a private charter from Dubuque (DBQ) to Dallas (DFW) for the day and treated to a tour of the\u00a0American Airlines Training Center, Integrated Operations Center (IOC) and <a href=\"http:\/\/crsmithmuseum.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">C.R. Smith Museum<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4668 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.envoyair.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/AA-RObert-Barkers-300x400.jpg\" alt=\"AA RObert Barkers\" width=\"321\" height=\"429\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>AA First Officer Robert Barkers addresses students<\/em><\/p>\n<p>During their visit, the students had the chance to\u00a0meet and speak with Carlos Trevino,\u00a0IOC Senior Manager, Operations Support, as well as American Airlines Pilot, Robert Barkers, about his experience in the field.
