{"id":47652,"date":"2024-10-11T16:17:15","date_gmt":"2024-10-11T21:17:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.envoyair.com\/?p=47652"},"modified":"2024-10-11T16:17:52","modified_gmt":"2024-10-11T21:17:52","slug":"caring-for-our-irving-community","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.envoyair.com\/2024\/10\/11\/caring-for-our-irving-community\/","title":{"rendered":"Caring for Our Irving Community"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, a group of Envoy employees volunteered at the <a href=\"https:\/\/irvingcares.org\/services\/food-pantry\/\">Irving Cares Food Pantry<\/a> to help organize supplies and give back to the Irving community by assisting families in need.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With nearly 800 employees based at Envoy Headquarters in Irving, TX, it\u2019s appropriate for employees to spend time volunteering at this local organization that helps more than 3,600 families every year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cSpending our morning by doing good alongside members of the very community that so many of our employees call home was such a great experience,\u201d said Envoy Director of Compensation and Benefits <strong>Jeanne Edler<\/strong>. \u201cI love events like these because they show how much good can be done in just a few short hours when a group of people work together for the shared goal of uplifting others.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Though the Envoy team helped send 40 families home with a month\u2019s worth of food each that morning, the team at Irving Cares can always use a hand \u2013 whether it\u2019s through volunteering, or donating food or other supplies, there are <a href=\"https:\/\/irvingcares.org\/get-involved\/\">countless ways to pitch in<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019re looking forward to the next opportunity to roll up our sleeves and Let Good Take Flight!<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.envoyair.com\/galleries\/gallery-irving-cares-food-pantry-volunteer-event-sept-26-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">View the rest of the photos from the volunteer event here.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Recently, a group of Envoy employees volunteered at the Irving Cares Food Pantry to help organize supplies and give back to the Irving community by assisting families in need.
