The group received a tour of Envoy Headquarters, the American Airlines Training Center and the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/crsmithmuseum.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">C.R. Smith Museum<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6440 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.envoyair.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/IMG-EHQ-Aavation-Day-Airline-Geeks-2017-12.jpg\" alt=\"IMG-EHQ-Aavation-Day-Airline-Geeks-2017-12\" width=\"700\" height=\"394\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;National Aviation Day is intended to celebrate the industry&#8217;s achievements and the people who make the magic of flight happen,&#8221; said 18-year-old Ryan Ewing, president and founder of AirlineGeeks.com\u00a0&#8212; a worldwide, passionate following of self-proclaimed\u00a0AvGeeks.<\/p>\n<p>The national holiday was established in 1939 by Franklin D. Roosevelt to celebrate the development of aviation, as well as Orville Wright\u2019s birthday.
